Teachers and students, either individually or as a group, could explore this site to undertake an in-depth study of one of Turner’s key works.
It has a particular focus on his painting technique and use of oil paint but would also allow students to set the work in an historical and social context.

Comments::
An excellent site for teachers or students to begin a study into Turner.
