Objectives & Structure:
The first material provides only visual representations of the Tryavna art school members of which are the two selected authors from the Vitan family. The second article provides detailed information on papa Vitan Jr. supported by images of some of his works.
The materials do not require special learning skills and the second one provides an opportunity for reaching ample information about papa Vitan Jr. details, of which the learner has little or no knowledge.

The provided information can be incorporated into a training course. It should however be supported by additional reading and visual materials.
Description of contents:
The first material is not divided into sections. It simply presents good examples of the works of both members of the Vitan family as well as other Tryavna art school icon painters.
The second material is divided into three separate sub-articles:
- Papa Vitan Jr. /Joanikij/ - one of the last icon-painters of the Tryavna art school, Bulgaria and the world
- A praise article on the artist
- The icon-painter and the city – the work of the Tryavna zograf papa Vitan Jr. /Joanikij/ in Sliven
