This source gives a very nice overview over Maria Sibyllas life and work as well as an insight in her famous illustrations (Suriname).
As Maria Sibylla was one of the first women in nature-sciences this source also adresses this topic. Furthermore not only Maria Sibylla herself but also her daughters are introduced, because it was namely their merit to their mothers work distributed and mentioned.
