ACTIVITIES REPORT
Partners' Institution:
University of Cumbria
Project's period (from/to):
January 09 - September 09
WPs concerned:
WP 6 - Teachers Training

Objectives of activities carried out:
Engagement of UK partner teachers with Michelangelo project developments

Time period:
January 09 - September 09

Description of activities carried out:
WP6

Invitations to teachers in UK partner schools to review materials produced in other partner countries and make comments on materials

Outcomes:
Very limited response from UK teachers because of time pressure in schools, distance to travel to videoconference location. Three attempts have been made to engage teachers in making comments and videoconference activities but participation in VC has been exclusively UoC specialist colelagues - who have enjoyed participation and recognise that they've got something out of the project.

Evaluation of the work undertaken:
This has not been successful. All useful support for the project from UK project partners has come from UoC colleagues and specialist staff engaged in the development of materials.
