Objectives of activities carried out:
Analysis of art in Italy throughout the past ten centuries, with special attention to its connection with all european art.

Time period:
January 2008 - June 2008

Description of activities carried out:
Creation of a sample Italian art history list for use as an example by project partners
Creation of background information about the European history context to aid the work of project partners
Further development of the Italian list by Italian art teachers
Agreement of the list of italian artists and artworks by italian art teachers
About 30 website evaluations completed

Evaluation of the work undertaken:
Because of the extremely rich and complex history of the italian art, both from the poetical and the technical point of view, the team of the italian teacher decided to present some artists not alone, but in comparison with other significative artist of theyr time (the case of Michelangelo-Raffaello-Leonardo for the 14century and Caravaggio-Borromini for the 15century)
