ACTIVITIES REPORT
Partners' Institution:
zepf
Project's period (from/to):
February 2008 - September 2008
WPs concerned:
WP 2 - Research on National Artists and Artworks

Objectives of activities carried out:
construction of the "artist-list" for germany.
Collection of sources for the identified artists/artworks

Time period:
Febraury 2008 - march/ until September 2008

Description of activities carried out:
research on national artists and artworks.

To get the process of constructing this artist list run we ourselves made a first example for an artist-list. This way we gave an initial input for our teachers who the put up their work and collected - each of them - a seperate list of favourite artists - artworks.
As a result there was a quite comprehensive list at the end, consisting of the teachers proposals.

In the second step there was made a choice out of this list so that the "one considered the most important artist/artwork" could be identified.
There was our second national meeting with the teachers on 14.2. 2008.
On this meeting the "centuries" and the corresponing artworks/artists were distributed to the different school-teams for further elaboration.

Working process on WP2 went on by gathering information and filling in the forms for the specific artists/artworf identified for each of the centuries.
Until in June there were still seven of those WP2-forms to be completed, deadlines were set on July 15th.

Outcomes:
Artist-List, collection of sources (not yet finished by now).

Evaluation of the work undertaken:
work still in process
