Objectives of activities carried out:- Creation of a common Form for the Collection of Sources
- Creation of the forms for the list of artists/artworks and the analysis of the art in Europe throughout the centuries.
- Creation, in cooperation with Connectis, of the database for artists and artworks.

Time period:January 2008 – December 2008
Description of activities carried out: – Pixel prepared common forms to be used by all partners for the List of Artists/Artworks and the Collection of Sources after a research activity. The forms were made to collect the most important aspects of each artist / artwork and to present them in a easy and friendly way. A first draft of the format for the Collection of Sources was presented during the first partners meeting. The form was discussed and corrected following the partners’ suggestions.
The final draft was then distributed to the partners by publication in the project website under the “Download” section.
Pixel created, together with Connectis, the structure and the main functions of the Michelangelo portal database for artists and artworks. The list is searchable both according a national and historical criteria.
Pixed collected and uploaded the lists of artists/artworks submitted by the partners.
Pixel finally checked all the material produced by the partners.
Also the form for “Art in Europe throughout the Centuries” was created, sent to Cumbria Faculty of Arts and the filled in result was re-edited and sent to Connectis to be published on the project web portal together with all the lists of Artists/Artworks collected.

Evaluation of the work undertaken:The work carried out so far has been satisfactory.
The reason that allows a positive evaluation is that the List of National Artist / Artworks is completed and published on the project Web portal. The Form for the Collection of Sources are being completed as well and the analysis of Art in Europe throughout the Centuries is completed and it is available on the project portal.
The artists / artworks collection has been undertaken with interest and satisfaction by the partners and the schools involved.
