Michelangelo University of Cumbria Dissemination Report. Autumn 2008 Introduction The University of Cumbria (UoC) is the UK National Schools’ Co-ordinator for the Michelangelo Project. The objective of the project is to promote knowledge and understanding of the most representative European fine arts of the last ten centuries in five EU countries. The UoC has become involved in the project to ensure that the north-west region of the UK is involved in Europe wide activities and to ensure that European secondary schools have access to the best of UK art history.
